About The Pantry to Pantry Program…

Through the Pantry to Pantry Program, MCHPP and its broad volunteer base prepare and deliver boxes of food to medically homebound individuals who are unable to come to the Food Pantry. Every Wednesday, a dedicated volunteer calls program participants to see which items they need delivered. Products range from canned goods and fresh produce to personal care items. On Thursdays, volunteers box up each household’s desired items, and deliver them to households all over the community.

Thirty-five clients receive these food supplies twice each month through this unique and important program.

How to get started

The Pantry to Pantry Program serves Topsham and Brunswick residents at this time. You can call or email us if you are interested about this program and/or have a case worker reach out to us if you have one. Our food pantry coordinator will setup a home visit for you to verify your eligibility (our standard Food Panty income guidelines apply to this program and we require documentation from a medical professional verifying you are medically homebound). We will also review how the program works at that time and what to expect. If you have any questions about this program or if you are interested in signing up, you can contact our Food Pantry Coordinator, Maggie Riley, at mriley@mchpp.org or 207-725-2716 x311.
