About The Common Good Garden…

The Common Good Garden sprouted from a partnership between The Brunswick Topsham Land Trust and MCHPP. The purpose of this 6,000 square foot garden is to grow organic produce for the clients of MCHPP. Volunteers use their green thumbs to plant, care for and harvest the food. Produce goes straight to our Soup Kitchen to be used for meals, or to the Food Pantry for distribution to local families. A variety of produce is grown in the garden, including carrots, onions, potatoes, winter squash, beets, turnips, lettuce, peppers and various herbs.
